YOUR HUNT
The Hunt
Your 5 day hunt will begin by ariving in Saskatoon on the Sunday of your week long hunt. You will stay in our lodging Sunday night and begin hunting Monday morning. Your last hunt will be Friday morning (time permiting), and you'll be on your way home after that. Your week long hunt will have you on a total of 9 hunts.
Saskatchewan's abundant variety of huntable waterfowl species means endless opportunity for you to bag that bucketlist bird. Species include snow goose, Canada goose, crane, speck, mallard, teal, gadwall, pintail, shoveller, wigeon, wood, and divers - especially great canvasback hunting.
We will cater to whatever the group would like to hunt, however, time of year and abundance of birds will essentially rule what species we can pursue.
Deposit and Refunds
A 50% deposit is required to hold dates. The remaining 50% is due July 1st on the year of your hunt. All deposits are non-refundable. Requests for date changes once deposits have been paid will only be honoured solely at our discretion.
We will do our best to reschedule if possible.
All deposits and balances are non-refundable. We will do our best to reschedule your hunt or you may send another hunter in your spot if you are unable to attend.
We recommend hunters purchase travel and medical insurance.
Accomodations
Our lodging is centrally located in the heart of our waterfowl area, and just 25 minutes from the Saskatoon Airport.
You will enjoy home style cooking at our comfortable accommodations. Please let us know in advance if there are any special dietary considerations as we will be more than happy to accommodate your requests. Any lodging that is required before or after the hunt must be arranged by the client and is the client’s financial responsibility.
Hunters will wake up early (around 4:00am), eat a light breakfast (muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee) and then head to the field for the set up of decoys and blinds. After the morning shoot we will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head back to the field and set up for another shoot. After this hunt, we will return to the lodge for a nice relaxing evening meal.
